Position overview
allnex is on the look out of a driven and commercially savvy Sales Manager to join our vibrant team in New Zealand based in Penrose, Auckland. You’ll be the face of allnex across a defined customer territory—building strong relationships, driving strategic sales, and helping shape the future of industrial coatings in the region.
This is your chance to make a visible impact in a critical market while working alongside a supportive and collaborative team. You’ll help shape and deliver our business vision while enhancing how we engage with both direct and indirect customers.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and grow sales with both existing and potential customers.
- Be our eyes and ears on the ground—gather and report key market insights, including competitor activity.
- Drive short, medium, and long-term commercial objectives, focusing on profitability and market share.
- Ensure timely implementation of pricing strategies in line with market conditions.
- Deliver accurate volume forecasts and business plans aligned with customer feedback and market trends.
- Safeguard allnex and customer data by maintaining confidentiality around technical and commercial assets.
- Partner with technical teams to ensure outstanding support and product knowledge delivery.
- Support inventory management by facilitating the sale of slow-moving or obsolete stock.
- Keep customer records and sales opportunities up to date in our CRM system.
- Promote and uphold allnex’s strong safety culture.
- Bridge communication between local and global stakeholders, especially with shared customers.

Required skills and experience
- Demonstrated sales experience in the chemical or coatings industry.
- Good understanding of composites technology is a plus!
- Solid knowledge of sales techniques and market strategy.
- Practical understanding of coating resin technologies and applications.
- Strong commercial acumen and business insight.
- Proactive and independent work style—self-driven and results-focused.
- Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Technologically confident, with good MS Office proficiency.
- Outstanding interpersonal and organizational abilities.
Qualifications

A tertiary degree in Chemistry, or a related technical field.
