Position overview

Are you interested in the opportunity to work as a Sales Manager Coatings Additives for the world's leading industrial coatings resins company, within the specialized Coatings Additives group? We will give you the experience and exposure you need to build your career and personal brand! If you are, then allnex may be the place for you.

 

You'll be responsible for managing and expanding our customer portfolio in the designated region for Coatings Additives group. You will drive annual budget targets, develop account plans, and identify new business opportunities in alignment with company strategy. The role involves working closely with the distribution network, negotiating contracts, and launching new products with marketing and business development teams. You will also provide market intelligence, actively prospect for new accounts, and maintain profitability and working capital standards.

Responsibilities

•    Maintain and further develop the current customers portfolio.
•    Deliver the annual budget sets for the geographical region (Volume and Marginal Income).
•   Define and implement account plans in order to capture new business opportunities in line with the Regional Commercial Team Unit strategy, Business Development/Technical Service and the Marketing plans.
•    Interact with the Distribution network supporting/driving growth thru this channel.
•    Negotiate contracts and prices in a competitive environment.
•    Develop new opportunities through new products.
•    Support new Product launches in partnership with Marketing and Business Development/Technical Service teams. 
•    Provide market and competition intelligence.
•    Organize an active prospection in the defined geographical area in order to discover and develop new accounts.
•    Monitor and maintain profitability standards consistent with overall Company rules.
•    Maintain Working Capital within Company standards.

Required skills and experience

•    8 up to 10 years in a similar position is required.
•    Knowledge of the Coatings market (Industrial and Architectural) is required.

•    Experience in the additives market is required. 
•    Experience collaborating with Distribution. 
•    Able to learn quickly new technologies.

•    Fluent English is required. 

•   Availability to travel 45% of the time. 

 

Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or relate fields.
•    Master in Science, Commerce or Marketing is a plus.
