Position overview
Join us as a Logistics Manager in Shanghai, China to oversee the entire supply chain, including warehousing, local distribution, import/export operation processes. In this role, you will be responsible for sample management including inventory, storage, local distribution, import and export as well as the China entities’ AEO certification.

Responsibilities
- Fully involved in warehousing, local distribution, import/export operation and legislation including sampling, and the ability on troubleshooting.
- Lead and oversee the logistics, warehouse, import/export team on their daily operational works.
- Responsible for logistics vendor management, including selection, performance review and cost review.
- Maintain Logistics KPI metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Responsible for Logistics team goal setup, career development.
- Accountable for CCIR, DC Alert, SCAR as initiator, investigator or corrective action owner.
- Closely working on logistics cost analysis and improvement.
- Prepare monthly report on inventory, delivery and cost.
- ISO/SOP/procedure update.
Required skills and experience
- 10 years progressive experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution and import/export.
- Chemical industry working experience is added advantage.
- Knowledge of end-to-end logistics operations (including maritime, over-the-road, rail, customs, and warehousing).
- Knowledge of Legislation on hazardous materials / dangerous goods shipments and handling process.
- Experience of AEO certification.
- Knowledge of the Free Trade Agreement eligibility and requirement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Management experience and people skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in International Trade or Logistic or Business Administration or equivalent.
- APICS certification would be an added advantage.
