Position overview

Are you ready to shape the future of the global composites business at allnex? As our Global Product Line Manager (PLM) – Composites, you will drive strategic alignment and operational excellence across multiple functions and regions. In this role, you will connect strategy with execution, ensuring our global composites growth ambitions translate into measurable outcomes across manufacturing, supply, sales, marketing, procurement, R&D/Technology and more. You will lead key initiatives such as capability‑building projects, CAPEX planning, product ramp‑ups, crisis taskforces, and global pricing alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and coordinate cross‑functional business teams across 8 manufacturing assets globally to ensure efficient, reliable composite‑resin operations and commercial execution.
  • Lead and manage CAPEX and capability‑upgrade projects, supporting business cases in close partnership with plant teams.
  • Participate in supply reviews and operational governance forums to ensure alignment with volume, service and growth plans.
  • Collaborate closely with regional PLMs to advance the global composites growth strategy and portfolio roadmap.
  • Supervise and coach the Junior PLM Composites (EMEA).
  • Issue product pricing guidelines for composites applications in coordination with regional PLMs, marketing and commercial teams.
  • Coordinate new‑product ramp‑ups with R&D/Technology, manufacturing, OTD and supply.
  • Lead crisis teams for exceptional operational events such as product allocation, large complaint waves, force majeure and similar scenarios.
  • Analyze profitability by plant, business line and product family, identifying improvement opportunities.

Required skills and experience

  • 10+ years of multinational experience in at least two areas: product management, project management, process engineering, production engineering or marketing.
  • Experience within the composites or chemical industries strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, analytical thinking and project‑management capabilities.
  • Ability to influence without authority and operate effectively in cross‑functional and multicultural environments.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
  • Highly organized, collaborative and able to build alignment across diverse teams.
  • Strong cross‑functional leadership experience in complex global environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operations‑linked projects and navigate both strategic and tactical priorities.
  • Proven capability to analyze product‑line performance and drive margin and service improvements.
  • Comfortable representing the product line with internal stakeholders at all levels as well as external partners and distributors.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, to communicate with a global organization and/or customers.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a technical field (Exact Sciences or similar) preferred.
