Position overview

allnex is looking for a well-versed professional to join the team as a Manufacturing Training Specialist! The Manufacturing Training Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving Operation and Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) training programs within the manufacturing organization. This role ensures supports knowledge transfer to increase overall operations awareness and risk intelligence and decrease risk across all levels, particularly among plant operators.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with global SHE and Manufacturing teams to design, develop, and enhance training programmes
  • Drive and implement training initiatives across manufacturing sites in collaboration with the Global Learning team
  • Develop and maintain engaging learning content within SuccessFactors LMS; act as an SME to support system effectiveness
  • Standardise and optimise training solutions to ensure consistency and efficiency across regions
  • Review and curate existing training materials, and recommend improvements or new solutions based on business needs
  • Research external training programmes and tools to identify best practices and innovative approaches
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide practical, business-aligned training solutions
  • Conduct regular site visits (e.g. Seremban and Melaka) to understand operational requirements and pilot initiatives
  • Support compliance with ISO standards, OSH regulations, and internal procedures
  • Identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and contribute to SHE performance improvements
  • Promote a strong safety culture across manufacturing sites
  • Assist with regulatory reporting, including submissions to DOSH

Required skills and experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in training and education within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Proven experience conducting training for operational employees
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Strong commitment to Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
  • Good understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
  • Experience in audits, incident investigations, and continuous SHE improvements
  • Knowledge of local SHE regulations and company standards
  • Experience in a Safety, Environmental, and/or Occupational Health role is an added advantage
  • Good computer skills, including reporting and documentation
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken); additional language skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to work in a global environment, including occasional meetings outside normal business hours

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Education or Chemical Engineering.
  • Professional certification in Safety, Environmental, and/or Occupational Health (local certification required) is an added advantage.
