Position overview
In this role as Innovation Manager for New Markets, you will leverage existing expertise while driving innovation to develop and implement strategies to enter new markets for the Additives Growth Platform. You will lead the expansion into new marktes regarding technology and application development, collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams such as business development, application technology, production, and quality. This position requires a highly structured approach to project management and a keen eye for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategies for the Additives business to enter into new markets both, utilizing existing know-how and bringing innovation;
• Lead the development of new products and applications for those new markets from initial concept through to regular business;
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including business development, application technology, production and quality;
• Engage with industry partners, customers, institutes and universities to foster innovation and development;
• Manage projects and activities with a highly structured approach;
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
Required skills and experience
• PhD in Organic Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry;
• 5-10 years of experience in a technology-driven role within a relevant industry;
• Broad knowledge in polymer science and application;
• Familiarity with allnex products and processes is highly desirable;
• Quick grasp of new and complex technological areas;
• Strong ambition and willingness to explore new technological areas;
• Well-developed sense of business opportunities;
• Strong interpersonal, project management and analytical skills;
• Basic IP management skills;
• Fluent English language skills.
