Position overview

Are you looking for an interesting job in an international company with strong local and global cohesion? Then you've come to the right place.
As the lead of our logistics team at the Werndorf location, you will assume responsibility for all logistics activities (e.g. transport management, warehousing, customs handling and more) so that our products arrive at the customer on time to best possible cost.

Responsibilities

Providing leadership, motivation and further development to a team of directly and indirectly subordinated employees (all together more than 20 people) is an essential part of your tasks.
Be responsible for the timely and accurate creation of documentations (shipping, customs, etc.), arrangement of transports - to ensure prompt, accurate and cost-efficient supply to our customers.
Ensure achievement of set targets in line with all internal, external safety rules and trade compliance legislation.
Responsible to optimize the existing processes and procedures with regard to ERP optimizations, costs and customer satisfaction.
Monitoring costs as well as service levels for all logistics activities.

Required skills and experience

At least 3 years of management experience in logistics (forwarding / logistics company or industrial company)
Strong leadership skills, strong communication skills & flexibility
Proactive action & structured way of working
Sense of responsibility & customer orientation
Very good knowledge of German and English
Very good IT skills (Windows, MS Office), SAP knowledge is an advantage
