  • Wage: Starts at $36.98/hr
  • Shift: Candidates MUST be able to work on the following shift: 4pm-12am.

Position overview

Join our team as a Quality Control Lab Technician and play a key role in ensuring product excellence through precise testing and analysis. If you’re passionate about science, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a collaborative lab environment, this is your chance to make a real impact—come be part of something meaningful!

Responsibilities

  • Perform all laboratory tests according to written instructions, including using both existing and newly introduced equipment.
  • Conduct mathematical calculations using provided equations or spreadsheets and use ERP software for material control, QC data entry, and generating Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
  • Maintain laboratory housekeeping and ensure quality control of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods, including quick troubleshooting.
  • Understand and apply analytical test methods, ensuring tests are correctly executed, documented, and kept up-to-date.
  • Ensure test equipment is calibrated and monitored to maintain accuracy and reliability.
  • Coordinate and conduct Round Robins and measurement variation analyses to ensure consistency and precision.
  • Manage the complaint investigation process, ensuring thorough coordination and resolution.
  • Maintain accurate QC records and generate product information for release and troubleshooting purposes.

Required skills and experience

  • At least 1 year of previous laboratory experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a preferred.
  • Familiarity with proprietary software is a plus.
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Physical Requirements

  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in a climate controlled, laboratory environment.
  • Vision must be good or corrected to normal to perform normal job duties.
  • Hearing must be good to have the ability to understand information to perform job duties.
  • Ability to read and write in English in order to process paperwork and follow up on any actions necessary.
  • Standing for extended periods of time.
  • Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks.
