Position overview

Are you a student looking for internship in a globally leading industrial company? We are looking for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team. The SHE intern will be a part of our team, working to provide assistance and support in the day-to day tasks as well gain an insight and understanding of the full cycle Safety processes like being compliant to regulations on safety and health, creation and standardization of policies as well as implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience in Safety, Health, and Environmental programs, processes, and initiatives.
  • Participate in monitoring and overseeing all aspects of Safety, Health, and Environmental practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to contribute to various continuous improvement plans.
  • Develop a safety induction video for new contractors, with a preference for skills in video editing.
  • Be responsible for a project focused on conducting measurements and experiments in the laboratory for waste to be treated in the wastewater treatment (Chemical Treatment Process).
  • Support the Safety, Health, and Environmental team in audit preparation and maintaining documentation.
  • Perform additional relevant support activities as needed.

Required skills and experience

  • Available for a minimum of 6 months during the internship period, with a preference for a 1-year commitment.
  • Strong technical and analytical attributes.
  • Good teamwork and cooperation. 
  • Curious about the chemical industry and has a genuine interest in the SHE field. 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree or a diploma in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or any other related field of study.
