Position overview

allnex invites you to join the Quality team as a Quality Intern today! In this role, you will support the team in ensuring that products, processes, and systems comply with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role provides hands-on exposure to both Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) functions, including assisting in routine laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, as well as maintaining accurate test records and laboratory data.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Control Support
    • Assist in performing routine quality tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and final products samples
    • Record and maintain accurate test results and laboratory data
    • Assist in calibration and verification of laboratory equipment
    • Ensure laboratory housekeeping in compliance with safety requirements
  • Quality Assurance Support
    • Assist in reviewing and updating quality documents, SOPs, specifications and work instructions
    • Support internal audits and compliance activities
    • Maintain quality records and filing systems
  • Process Quality Monitoring and Continuous Improvement Projects
    • Assist in investigating quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conforming products
    • Support root cause analysis RCA and corrective and preventive action CAPA activities
    • Help collect and analyze quality-related data for process improvement initiatives
    • Support implementation of quality initiatives to reduce defects, waste and customer complaints
  • Health, Safety and Compliance
    • Follow all company safety, environmental, energy and quality management requirements
    • Comply with ISO standards and company procedures
    • Wear required PPE and maintain safe working environment

Required skills and experience

  • Able to commit to a 6-month internship program
  • Any familiarity or knowledge regarding laboratory testing, or analytical equipment, ISO 9001 Management System, is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree Qualifications that is relevant (Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, or related disciplines)
