Position overview
allnex invites you to join our dynamic Commercial team as a driven and customer-oriented Sales Representative in South Korea to support business growth within the paint and coatings industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical knowledge with commercial execution, focusing on building customer relationships, supporting sales activities, and identifying new business opportunities.
You will work closely with industry-leading customers, gain hands-on experience in technical sales, and develop expertise in chemical solutions and applications within the paint and coatings market.

Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with paint and coatings manufacturers.
- Promote and sell chemical raw materials and technical solutions to customers.
- Support business development activities and identify new sales opportunities.
- Maintain regular customer engagement to ensure long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare sales reports, market updates, and customer activity analysis.
- Coordinate with internal teams including technical, supply chain, and marketing to support customer needs.
- Develop product and application knowledge to effectively communicate technical value propositions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Required skills and experience
- 3 years and above of experience in technical sales, chemical sales, coatings, or related industries.
- Prior exposure to paints, coatings, specialty chemicals, additives, or raw materials is an advantage.
- Strong learning agility and willingness to develop technical expertise.
- Commercially driven with strong accountability and ownership.
- Positive attitude with strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance technical discussions with business objectives.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and sales activities independently.
- Basic understanding of sales reporting and profitability analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline.
