Position overview

Are you interested in being part of the global chemical industry? allnex is looking for someone passionate about sales and negotiations. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for making strategic decisions to develop our business, including managing accounts, negotiating contracts, preparing and presenting reports, among other activities. Responsibilities

•    Understand the account needs in depth, customer key buying criteria, and sensitivity to changes. Assess our competitive position (market share, cost position, technology, performance) at the accounts and communicate throughout the regional business organization.
•    Manage the territory/customer project list to ensure commitments are met. Responsible for meeting the agreed-upon budgeted sales volumes, revenues, and contribution margin targets.
•    Identify and define value-creating opportunities for Liquid Resins and Additives, cross-linkers and related businesses, taking into account all aspects of the business (existing products, new developments, volumes, prices, service levels, cost to serve, etc.).
•    Build internal relationships with Marketing managers, Technical Services, and Business Development to implement the plan.
•    Balance empowerment of customer service while ensuring enough direct interaction with customers.
•    Prepare and/or lead negotiations (pricing, rebate, other agreements, and contracts) in alignment with the Business Unit's Strategies.
•    Monitor and report competitive threats, propose responses, and agree on tactics as appropriate.
•    Oversee the execution of account plans, doing what it takes to ensure the targets are met or exceeded.
•    Expected to travel approximately 40% of the time.
•    Build relationships with customers at all levels of both organizations.

Required skills and experience

•    5+ years of experience in paint & coatings, polymer resins, or similar areas.
•    Previous experience in sales.
•    Excellent business, commercial, and technical expertise. Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple problems at once and prioritize.
•    Very motivated, with intellectual curiosity and resiliency. Strong analytical, conceptual, and strategic thinking (vision, problem solving).
•    Experience with Power BI, Excel, CRM, and ERP will be a plus.
•    Expected to travel 40% of the time (this is a work from home position).
•    Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.

OR
•    15+ years of field experience.
