Position Overview
Join Our Team as a Sales Director!
Are you an experienced and driven Sales Director looking for your next big challenge? We have an incredible opportunity for you to lead our Coating Resins Team in Mexico and Central America region.
In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the forefront of driving sales and maximizing profitability, all while leading the sales team. If you’re ready to make a significant impact and be part of a forward-thinking company, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Direct the regional Coating Reins sales team and sales activities for the achievement of short, medium and long term business objectives.
- Lead, coach and mentor a high performance sales team.
- Develop and execute sales and growth plan within existing and potential customers.
- Set and implement customer and product pricing strategies in the marketplace.
- Support sales team at key accounts in all significant negotiations.
- Provide volume forecast updates against business plan by product category and in line with market activity.
- Establish a process of sales excellence across allnex and develop a process of exchanging and implementing best practices within the sales team.
- Ensure the appropriate relationship at all levels (commercial, technical, Business, etc).
- Ensure appropriate internal commercial and technical resourcing and coordination of those to grow the account.
- Optimize channel to market.
- Determine right sales channel for each country and optimize for allnex across Businesses (agent, distribution or direct sales or a combination of several channels).
- Optimize network of agents and distributors across BUs.
- Establish a process of sales excellence across allnex, building upon all efforts done to date (commercial excellence project, Andes, etc) and further optimizing.
- Determine the gaps in the organization and develop a plan to fill these (training, hiring etc).
- Determine a plan to upgrade the quality of the sales team.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years relevant business experience, leading salesforce.
- Experience in the Coating resins industry.
- Demonstrated experience in driving revenue growth.
- Availability to travel for about 40% of the time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Chemistry / Chemical Engineering and/or MBA or similar qualification.
- Knowledge with Power BI, excel, CRM and ERP will be a plus.
- Fluent English is required.
