Position overview

(The Global) Talent Development Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the global digital L&D agenda. Based on a strong learning and training tracking platform in place (SF Learn), this role is asked to bring digitization of functional and non-functional learning to the next level, automating training delivery further, creating inspirational learning programs (e.g. via Articulate) and collaborating with external vendors and internal stakeholders to create inspirational digital learning offers. In addition, this role will manage culture change surveys and support the organization in culture change initiatives. In addition, this role will regularly provide virtual training and facilitate team workshops (if experience here is limited, we are happy to help build this).

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute our global annual (mainly virtual) L&D agenda (incl. inspirational monthly virtual learning highlights, quarterly webinars on strategic topics, new ideas are welcomed!).
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive virtual functional and non-functional programs, drive further automation of mandatory training (e.g. via assignment profiles).
  • Collaborate strongly with external vendor (OpenSesame) in maximizing usage of best-in-class learning programs, in line with organizational needs and general L&D trends.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of change initiatives and employee adoption.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
  • Identify new ways of AI usage in speeding up training creation, supporting manager coaching or other.
  • Manage New Manager Onboarding Workshop process globaly.
  • Conduct global training sessions, workshops, and webinars.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning & development and cultural change.
  • Promote and communicate our learning efforts within and outside of the organization for internal and external employer branding.

Required skills and experience

  • Around 5+ years of proven experience in creating learning and development initiatives, with deep experience and passion for creating e-learning programs  and digital learning paths.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Deep experience with e-learning platforms and/or related digital training creation tools (e.g. Articulate) is required. Experience with HRIS systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors a plus.
  • Knowledge of learning methodology and recent trends in L&D and the ability to translate this into compelling products/trainings.
  • A go-getter spirit, strategic and hands-on at the same time, enjoying the fast pace in our small virtual team and the clear mission to “to get great things done”.
  • Very independent working-style, enjoying the freedom to create the L&D map with limited guidance whilst being part of a local and global community.
  • Ability to inspire stakeholders for digitization of L&D.
  • Ability to build excellent relationships across multiple teams.
  • Thorough familiarity with MS Office Suite and proficient in MS Excel.
  • Facilitator skills are a plus, can also be built on-the-job.
