Position overview

We are looking for a Hazard Communication and Raw Material Administrator, a detail-oriented professional with a passion for regulatory compliance and product stewardship.

In this role, you will support hazard communication activities by managing SDS distribution, handling incoming inquiries, coordinating translations, and preparing reports and statistics. At the same time, you will contribute to the assessment and approval of raw materials by evaluating their hazard and regulatory impact, ensuring compliance with global requirements, and supporting the safe use of materials in allnex products.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming emails from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional communication.
  • Review product requests from plants and R&D, return incomplete submissions, and provide clear guidance on required information.
  • Oversee SDS distribution processes and related communications.
  • Identify missing translations, coordinate updates, and ensure timely republication of affected SDSs.
  • Prepare monthly SDS export reports and HazCom performance statistics.
  • Provide administrative support for HazCom projects and ongoing initiatives.
  • Assess and approve purchased raw materials for use in allnex products, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluate chemical, physical, health, and environmental hazards and their potential impact.
  • Maintain and update raw material data in WERCS, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Review supplier SDSs, verify compositions, and request additional information where necessary.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, R&D, and Data teams on regulatory requirements and data setup.

Required skills and experience

  • University degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of administrative or regulatory experience.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to interact across diverse teams (business, R&D, manufacturing, and support functions).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with global product stewardship or database systems.
  • Highly accountable, motivated, and committed to meeting and exceeding stakeholder expectations.
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle competing priorities with flexibility.
