Position overview

We are seeking a proactive Demand Analyst to support our demand planning process. You will play a key role in forecasting, analyzing sales data, and collaborating closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leveraging technology such as Power BI and AI-driven tools to transform data into actionable insights. Once we have demand planning stabilized, the role will expand to include other areas of commercial analysis and excellence to support the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and input from the sales organization.
  • Regularly interact with Sales teams to gather market insights, validate forecasts, and understand demand drivers.
  • Regularly interact with Supply Chain and Finance teams to understand impact and how to improve.
  • Use analytical and mathematical skills to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improved accuracy in forecasts.
  • Generate clear and insightful reports using Power BI and other analytical tools, sharing results with cross-functional teams.
  • Continuously enhance forecasting methods through data-driven analysis and adoption of advanced tools (AI, predictive analytics).
     

Required skills and experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, sales analysis, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in numerical analysis with a solid foundation in mathematics and statistical concepts.
  • Experienced in using analytics tools such as Power BI, with a working knowledge of AI and data analytics tools considered a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, supply chain, and finance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of simplifying complex data and clearly presenting insights to diverse stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance/Economics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems is an asset.
