Position overview

Join our dynamic team at allnex Riga GBS as a Cost Analyst! Are you ready to take the lead in coordinating communication, analyzing production variances, and driving profitability? You will have to work closely with America's manufacturers.
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage cost-related issues and support our site management in budgeting and forecasting processes. Responsibilities

  • Act as a key contact point for local site teams;​
  • Lead and coordinate communication between different stakeholders, including Manufacturing, Finance, and Business management regarding cost related issues;​
  • Manage ad-hoc requests for cost analysis and take appropriate actions when needed;​
  • Analyse different dimensions of production variances and report appropriately;​
  • Identify and communicate recurring variances and lead continuous improvement activities;​
  • Provide visibility to Finance and Manufacturing on issues related to product costing and overhead allocations;​
  • Perform cost control activities at plant / country level and identify areas of improvement;​
  • Perform month-end closing and reporting activities and ensure timely completion as per closing calendar;​
  • Ensure maintenance and review of process documentation;​
  • Budget preparation, standard cost and activity rate analysis and follow up;​
  • Managing other cost analysis related requests.​

Required skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or similar field;​
  • 2-4 years’ experience in the field of Finance, Data-Analysis and Cross-departmental communication;​
  • English required at advanced level;​
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;​
  • Detail minded with good problem solving and analytical skills;​
  • Experience with pivot tables, data processing and analysing;​
  • Experience with SAP system considered as an advantage;​
  • Experience and knowledge of the operational aspects of processes and/or manufacturing companies would be considered as an advantage.​
