Position overview
allnex is on the lookout for an experienced Production Manager to join our high-performing production team in Rayong, Thailand — someone who brings strong technical know-how, hands-on leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
In this role, you’ll take charge of all production activities, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality across every process — from planning and raw material preparation to equipment performance and team development. You’ll also play a key role in driving new projects, enhancing productivity, and strengthening collaboration across departments to deliver operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead and Oversee Production Operations
Supervise daily production performance to ensure everything runs seamlessly according to schedule, process control, and safety regulations. -
Optimize Processes and Equipment
Partner with the engineering and maintenance teams to enhance machine performance, introduce improvements, and resolve operational challenges. -
Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with other departments — from planning and sales to purchasing and technical — to ensure smooth operations and optimal resource utilization. -
Champion Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Initiatives
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture through programs, and energy-saving and waste-reduction initiatives. -
Empower and Develop Teams
Mentor and coach production staff through on-the-job training, ensuring everyone has the technical know-how and safety awareness to perform at their best. -
Monitor, Report, and Improve
Review shift reports, analyze production results, and prepare weekly/monthly performance summaries that highlight safety, productivity, and improvement opportunities. -
Support Continuous Improvement
Contribute to developing and refining standard work instructions and job safety analyses, especially when introducing new projects or equipment.
Required skills and experience
- 8 - 10 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing industry, including 5 years in a production leadership role.
- Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, and product quality management.
- Proven ability to build teamwork and foster collaboration across departments.
- Hands-on experience with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, and Process Safety Management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, technical analysis, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication skills in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
- Resilient under pressure, proactive in challenges, and motivated to achieve goals.
- Proven experience in project management and stakeholder management, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and drive projects from planning to successful execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
