Manufacturing Training Intern

Position overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Training Intern. In this role, you will support global initiatives focused on enhancing training programmes related to chemical operations and safety practices, collaborate with subject matter experts to design engaging digital learning content, conduct surveys to assess training needs, and analyse data to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Digital Learning Design

  • Support global projects focused on implementing a standardised Basic Chemical Operations Learning Journey.
  • Assist in designing and developing e-learning materials on chemical operations topics.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the technical accuracy and relevance of content.
  • Support language translation efforts to ensure content accessibility for a global audience.

Survey and Analysis of Training Requirements

  • Conduct surveys to assess Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) training programmes across global manufacturing sites.
  • Compile, analyse, and report survey findings to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in training programmes.

Training Record Data Analysis

  • Generate insightful reports to evaluate training record data in SuccessFactors LMS.
  • Assist in designing and developing global training dashboards.

Manufacturing Training Support

  • Assist in coordinating and managing training activities, including scheduling, logistics, and communication.
  • Participate in ad hoc manufacturing training activities and projects as required.

Required skills and experience

  • individuals who can join us for a 6-month internship program is preferred
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Growth mindset with a keen eagerness to learn.
  • Interest or experience in working with diverse cultures and global environments, with the ability to work and communicate cross-culturally.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms, content creation tools, or multimedia software (e.g., Articulate, Canva, or similar) is an added advantage.
  • Experience with data analysis tools or a strong interest in learning (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar) is an added advantage.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Training & Development, Instructional Design, or related field
