Position overview
allnex is looking for a Lease Process Expert to join our GBS Finance team. In this role, you will ensure accurate IFRS16 lease accounting and global reporting while working closely with Finance and Consolidation teams. You will support audits, budgeting, and compliance, and have the opportunity to drive process improvements, enhance efficiency, and collaborate with international colleagues in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities
- Act as key user for IFRS16 tools (SAP RE-FX, EY lease database).
- Manage lease contract changes, updates, and modifications with Legal Entities.
- Provide monthly leasing postings to Controllers and support transition to A2R team.
- Collaborate with Procurement and local Finance Controllers to ensure IFRS16 compliance.
- Communicate closing status/issues with A2R Team Lead, Supervisors, and local stakeholders.
- Run and analyse lease reports, prepare reconciliations, resolve differences, and secure approvals.
- Maintain documentation in line with Corporate Internal Controls; act as team back-up as planned.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis, reporting, and consolidation activities.
- Coordinate internal/external audits and ensure compliance with controls and lease-related policies.
- Deliver quarterly reports, budget forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Escalate issues appropriately to Consolidation, Finance Managers, Controllers, or Corporate Finance.
- Provide IFRS16 expertise, guidance, and training to finance teams.
- Lead lease improvement projects to enhance processes, automation, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
Required skills and experience
- 2–4 years in a financial environment, with exposure to financial reporting and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/local reporting standards.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and ERP systems (SAP, BPC, BlackLine a plus).
- Excellent communication skills in English, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational ability.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and able to meet deadlines with accuracy and integrity.
- Continuous improvement mindset with ability to drive process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
