Position overview

allnex is looking for an experienced professional to join our team in Melaka as a Warehouse Operator! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, adherence to FIFO/FEFO principles, and optimal utilisation of warehouse space.

 

Do you have a proactive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a strong sales ethic? If so, we’re counting on you to help us maintain safe and reliable operations!

Responsibilities

  • Carry out warehouse activities, including:
    • Handling raw materials: receiving, unloading, storage, and batching for production.
    • Handling finished goods: storage, order picking, and loading for delivery.
  • Perform repacking and transfer of materials into the required packaging as needed.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards, including 5S practices and strict adherence to all safety processes and procedures.
  • Fully comply with allnex and industry Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) standards at all times.

Required skills and experience

  • Relevant warehouse experience, preferably within a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of chemical materials storage, handling, and applicable regulations.
  • Familiarity with standard warehouse operating procedures.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic proficiency in the English language.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks and make sound decisions.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or SAP ERP is an added advantage.

Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM qualification.
  • Certification or experience in complying with dangerous goods regulations and hazardous materials storage
