Production QC Operator

Position overview

Are you skilled in chromatographic techniques and familiar with the instruments used in the resin industry? We’re looking for someone like you to join us as a Production QC Operator in Mahad, India! While experience in the resin field is a bonus, what’s most important is your ability to manage a variety of quality control tasks with accuracy and care.

 

If you’re detail-oriented, hands-on, and ready to contribute to our team’s success, we’d love to have you on board!

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily QC activities for raw material (RM) and finished goods (FG) qualification.
  • Apply strong resin knowledge and expertise in test methods for RM and FG.
  • Utilize skills in GC, GPC, and FT-IR (preferred).
  • Design and develop internal specifications for quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with the production team to enhance in-process product quality.
  • Adhere to 5S principles for workplace organization.
  • Partner with R&D and procurement teams to align quality standards.
  • Prepare Certificates of Analysis (COA) daily.
  • Implement and maintain ISO systems.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and data entry in the system.

Required skills and experience

  • 4 - 7 years of QC experience in the resin industry (preferred) or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Gas Chromatography, Gel Permeation Chromatography, FT-IR, Hach Colorimeter, Brookfield RV-DV2T Viscometer, Karl Fischer, and M.Pt. & B.Pt. instruments.
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities.
  • Hands-on approach to lab work.
  • Adaptable to new roles and responsibilities.
  • Excellent analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • IT proficiency with an investigative mindset.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Chemistry or Polymer Science, Analytical Chemistry.
