Position overview

Are you interested in learning more about the Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) is the world leading industrial coating resins company? allnex is looking for SHE Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for creating and implementing the site's overall strategy with respect to safety. You will focus on data analytics and ultimately use the data to predict and prevent injuries from occurring.

Responsibilities

  • Update and implement SHE procedures, work instructions and program in compliance with National Laws, Government Regulations, Industrial Criteria and Corporate Standards.
  • Promptly report, correct to any unsafe behavior and unsafe conditions in working place.
  • Continue with current best in class Visible Safety Leadership system that incorporates procedures for tracking, analyzing, reporting and visibly posting efforts.
  • Support Business Units to get the trading license of dangerous goods for legal compliance.
  • Cooperating regular PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) re-validation system, Job Safety Analysis, projects MOC (Management of Change), and others.
  • Implement incident investigation, reporting and initiate and follow up corrective and preventive actions, and report via CIRS (Allnex Incident Reporting System).
  • Provide SHE support for new projects.
  • Ensure site PPE in effective management.
  • To organize safety activities and trainings to improve employees’ safety awareness, such as shift safety meeting, company safety competition, SHE emergency drill etc.
  • Responsible for site fire system (water & alarm) management, ensure fully compliance.
  • Conduct daily site safety audit and lead project & construction SHE management.
  • Manage SHE Management System Certification.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of the unit, compliance with health requirements and protection of the environment, including energy conservation.

Required skills and experience

  • Minimum of 3 years on-site safety and environmental management experience in related manufacturing industry area
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office 
  • Professional knowledge and experience in the fields of Safety, Security, Environmental Protection, Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
