Position overview

Are you ready to step into a dynamic role where every day is about problem-solving and making sure things run smoothly? allnex invites you to join us as a Production Supervisor in JiaXing, China and you'll work closely with our Production Manager to keep our equipment and production lines operating at their best. From troubleshooting and routine maintenance to implementing new products and processes, your hands-on approach will be key to our success. You’ll also oversee SOPs, check on abnormal batches, and help ensure that everything stays on track with our high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and uphold Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) standards.
  • Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are maintained and continuously improved.
  • Plan and coordinate the monthly maintenance schedule with the maintenance engineer.
  • Keep equipment preventive maintenance (PM) documentation up to date.
  • Lead projects focused on equipment improvements and modifications.
  • Collaborate with the Process Engineer and Maintenance Engineer on troubleshooting and managing change requests.
  • Assist in investigating equipment breakdowns and provide recommendations for solutions.
  • Oversee and enhance the 5S management system within the plant.
  • Train operators, manage team organization, and lead improvement initiatives.
  • Support the implementation of new processes and products.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on production data.
  • Help investigate abnormal batches and offer suggestions for corrective action.
  • Handle SAP data collection and transfer responsibilities.
  • Manage raw materials inventory and processes.

Required skills and experience

  • 3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing.
  • A strong history of ensuring equipment performance and reliability.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and process validation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and computer skills.
  • Proficient in English with strong computer skills.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Strong skills in diagnosing issues with equipment or processes and implementing quick, effective solutions.
  • Capable of analyzing production data and trends to make informed decisions.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to production changes or challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
