Position overview

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our GBS Americas team in Guadalajara. In this role, you will drive end‑to‑end recruitment initiatives across Mexico and the U.S., partnering closely with hiring managers to attract and secure top talent. You’ll have the opportunity to influence hiring strategies, work in a multicultural environment, and contribute directly to organizational growth.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to understand staffing needs and define recruiting strategies for Mexico and the U.S.
  • Ensure compliance with internal SLAs, recruitment guidelines, and process quality standards.
  • Develop and publish job postings across multiple channels, including job boards, local media, and young‑talent networks.
  • Source and attract qualified candidates using databases, professional networks, and social media platforms.
  • Review resumes, evaluate applications, and coordinate all interview stages to ensure a seamless hiring process.
  • Maintain effective communication with candidates, serving as a trusted point of contact and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Support regional Employer Branding initiatives, including collaboration with local universities and talent communities.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues and provide system training or process support when needed.

Required skills and experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, with strong understanding of staffing processes.
  • Proven experience in sourcing and headhunting across various platforms.
  • Hands‑on experience with professional networking and social media sites such as LinkedIn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory).
  • Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in recruiting or HR (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, SHRM, AIRS) are a plus.
