Position overview

The Strategic Analyst - Product Management & Commercial Excellence transforms complex data into actionable business insights that drive profitable growth.

This role partners with business leaders across all Americas Business Units, Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance to support strategic initiatives, pricing excellence, portfolio optimization, business planning, and commercial effectiveness.

Success in this role requires a combination of strong analytical capabilities and business acumen, with experience in consulting, finance, FP&A, business analytics, commercial excellence, or a related field. The position offers the opportunity to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously, collaborate across functions, and influence business decisions through data-driven insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial, commercial, and market analyses to support strategic initiatives, business planning, forecasting, portfolio optimization, and growth opportunities across the Americas.
  • Develop analytical models, scenario analyses, and business cases to evaluate pricing, profitability, capital investments, strategic initiatives, and value creation opportunities.Identify opportunities to improve product mix, margins, pricing strategies, market participation, customer profitability, and overall business performance.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and reporting tools that provide visibility into business performance and support data-driven decision making.Analyze key business and commercial drivers, including pricing trends, raw material costs, pricing effectiveness, customer segmentation, sales productivity, and opportunity pipelines to support strategic recommendations.
  • Partner with Product Management, Sales, Finance, Commercial Excellence, and business leaders to prioritize growth initiatives, solve complex business challenges, and implement best practices across the region.
  • Translate complex analyses into executive-level presentations, recommendations, and decision-support materials that influence strategic decision making.
  • Support Commercial Excellence initiatives through analytics, governance, process optimization, CRM adoption, data quality improvements, standardized processes, and enhanced reporting capabilities to improve commercial effectiveness

Required skills and experience

  • 3-7 years of experience in management consulting, strategic planning, commercial excellence, FP&A, business analytics, corporate finance, product management analytics, or related analytical roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convert data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional business initiatives and working with commercial and operational stakeholders.
  • Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, industrial products, or consulting environments preferred.
  • Advanced to fluent English communication skills are required. This role regularly interacts with stakeholders across the Americas and requires conducting meetings, presentations, and business discussions in English

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field.MBA,
  • Master's degree, or prior consulting experience highly desirable.
  • Professional certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Analytics, Project Management, or related disciplines are a plus.
