Position overview
Are you passionate about turning data into strategic insights that drive real business impact? The Senior FP&A and Controlling Analyst plays a key role in shaping financial decisions across the Americas region. You’ll be at the heart of strategic initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to guide capital investments, optimize working capital, and support long-term planning. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our operations and help steer the business toward sustainable growth.

Responsibilities
- Deliver insightful financial analysis to support strategic projects and initiatives, including:
- Capital investment evaluations (e.g., discounted cash flow analysis)
- Financial modeling for footprint changes
- Working capital optimization
- M&A activities (when applicable)
- Other strategic decision-making support
- Lead the preparation of the strategic 5-year plan and annual budget in collaboration with business partners and finance colleagues.
- Support monthly reporting and serve as a backup for key FP&A activities, especially month-end reporting packages and forecasting.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis for business leaders and cross-functional teams as needed.
- Manage finance-led projects such as cost reduction initiatives and process improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with controllers and cost analysts on financial matters at manufacturing sites, including - Standard cost setting, SMOG management, Inventory controls and policy compliance and Period cost management.
- Contribute to broader controlling activities, including impairment testing analysis, reconciliation of legal and management reporting, and other ad hoc topics.
Required skills and experience
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or cost accounting within a corporate finance environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally within a Fortune 500 company.
- Strong financial analysis capabilities, including hands-on experience with discounted cash flow modeling.
- Solid accounting knowledge, particularly in manufacturing (e.g., standard costing, inventory, and fixed asset management).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Proactive, curious, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience with SAP and BI tools preferred.
- Familiarity with data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Finance) are a plus.
