Position overview
Are you passionate about logistics, inventory planning, and making processes run smoothly? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team and take ownership of sample inventory management across multiple business groups. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data to drive improvements, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards—all while keeping our operations efficient and customer-focused.

Responsibilities
- Manage replenishment planning and inventory for the sample fulfillment center, ensuring stability across all business groups.
- Collaborate with product line managers to maintain accurate inventory levels and reduce slow-moving or obsolete stock.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement in replenishment, inventory control, and service levels.
- Communicate effectively with customer service, sales teams, and product managers to implement business rules for sample and pail orders.
- Oversee the identification and disposition of non-conforming inventory, including relabeling, reworking, or disposal, and obtain necessary approvals.
- Coordinate with 3rd party providers, SHE, and Quality representatives to ensure timely requalification, disposal, and ERP system updates.
- Track and document all approved disposal items and provide regular reporting to management.
- Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
Required skills and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in planning, customer service, or logistics processes.
- Experience with DOT, IATA, and IMO is a plus.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel) is required. SAP experience preferred.
- Knowledge of safety, health, environmental, and other regulatory/compliance requirements.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changes that may impact daily activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Fluency in English.
