Position overview

At allnex, we believe that a safe and sustainable workplace is the foundation of everything we do. We're looking for a SHE Specialist to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards in Safety, Health, and Environmental performance. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to regulatory compliance, environmental protection, and employee well-being while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

As a trusted SHE partner at the site, you will collaborate with teams across the organization, provide guidance on safety and environmental practices, and help ensure that our operations remain safe, compliant, and responsible. Responsibilities

  • Remain current with regulatory compliance requirements and issues.
  • Audit systems within the RC14001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
  • Maintain permits, compile site environmental data (air, water, and waste), and file regulatory reports.
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct annual company-required and regulatory environmental testing.
  • Provide SHE training to employees, suppliers, visitors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collect and compile site safety and environmental statistics and report results.
  • Train supervisors on safety and environmental regulations.

Required skills and experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in health, safety, or environmental role within chemical, polymer, resin, or related industries preferred.
  • Professional knowledge and experience in the areas of Safety, Environmental Regulations, and Industrial Hygiene monitoring.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
