SAP Analyst

Position overview

The position is responsible for maintaining and supporting the global IT applications which are being used in the operations processes (Manufacturing, Quality Management, Industry 4.0). The position will be responsible for the configuration and the functional support of those applications within these functional areas. The incumbent will ensure close alignment with the other functional areas within IT as well as with the IT Application Architects. The position will participate in multiple roll-out and improvement projects. For the support activities, close collaboration and alignment with the Global Service Delivery organization will be required.

  • Liaise with Key Business Users to analyse their needs, develop overall requirements and enhance the existing solutions with the required functionally.
  • Execute changes and improvements in the supporting applications.
  • Test newly developed features and changes in the platform’s configuration before releasing to the user community.
  • Prepare platform’s manuals and operation guides for or together with the users
  • Provide training to platform’s users in structured classes and online formats on an ad hoc basis.
  • Support the solution of incidents
Required skills and experience
  • 5-6 years of working experience of which at least 4 in SAP ECC
  • In-depth experience in SAP ECC QM, knowledge of PP-PI desirable
    • Including configuration and integration with other modules
    • Full roll-out experience (configuration, testing, training, documentation…)
  • Experience in the design of interfaces with third party tools e.g. for statistical analysis, labware...
    • Functional design and collaboration with developers and local teams
  • Experience with process digitalization in manufacturing, sensor reading, advanced analytics
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Excellent written and oral English, with any other additional language being an advantage.


Master degree in a scientific or engineering direction with a major IT component - or equivalent experience
