Position overview

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Production Technician to join our Production team in Biên Hòa, Vietnam. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our production line operates safely, efficiently, and consistently to meet operational targets and quality standards.

 

As a Production Technician, you will be at the heart of manufacturing excellence—monitoring processes, troubleshooting challenges, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to a culture grounded in safety, quality, and environmental responsibility. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic plant environment and wants to grow their technical expertise in the chemical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor the production line to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations.
  • Manage DCS (Distributed Control System) activities in Control Room during assigned shifts.
  • Execute production processes to achieve output, quality, and safety targets.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement timely, effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Support Shift Leaders and Managers in training and developing new operators, including DCS and QC lab activities.
  • Evaluate and guide new operators to ensure competency and adherence to operational standards.
  • Drive housekeeping and workplace organization initiatives to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity, including reducing cooking/processing time.
  • Collaborate with Technical, QA, and Process teams to resolve quality or technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies on Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives across the plant.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Production Management.

Required skills and experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry or a similar process-driven environment.
  • Practical experience operating or supporting automated production systems (DCS knowledge preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze process issues and implement solutions.
  • Good technical aptitude and comfort working with production technology and control systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and shifts.
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support and train others.
  • Detail-oriented, persistent, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline (required).
