Position overview
Join allnex as a key player in our Maintenance Team as a Maintenance Technician in Biên Hòa, Vietnam, you’ll ensure our production equipment and facilities run like clockwork— safe, efficient, and ready to perform. Your focus will be on keeping all electrical and instrument parts in top shape, minimizing downtime, and maximizing productivity. This means troubleshooting and proactively maintaining our machinery to keep our operations running smoothly and meeting production goals every day.
Responsibilities
- Keep all electrical equipment and instruments running smoothly by performing regular preventive maintenance, like motor checks and control panel inspections.
- Support plant safety through periodic inspections of all electrical and instrument apparatus and installations.
- Monitor incoming power supply and check the standby generator (650KVA) to ensure safe, consistent electricity distribution.
- Handle repair requests from other departments, such as lab instrument repairs and socket or lighting installations.
- Assist your supervisor with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and brainstorming the best solutions for any issues.
- Collaborate with mechanical personnel on emergency and preventive maintenance efforts.
- Keep your supervisor informed on all electrical activities, plant conditions, and the status of follow-up jobs.
- Prepare and submit a monthly maintenance report detailing issues and corrective actions taken.
- Suggest improvements for maintenance work and recommend equipment upgrades or modifications when needed.
- Maintain tidy housekeeping and care for maintenance tools at all times.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Coordinator and Manager.
Required skills and experience
- 1 year in a general or chemical industry setting.
- Strong awareness and commitment to safety practices.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and instrumentation.
- Proficiency in reading electrical and instrumentation schematics.
- Familiarity with SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation issues.
- Competent in using relevant computer software and applications.
- Cooperative, team-oriented, and ready to contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical studies is preferred.
