Position overview

In role of Segment Marketing Manager for EMEA region you will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategy in EMEA region, leveraging market intelligence to inform decision-making and drive growth for a market segments. You will lead efforts to position ourselves as a thought leader and preferred partner within the coatings or other related special chemicals industry.

Responsibilities

1.    Market Intelligence and analysis:

  • Accelerate market intelligence (industry trends, customer needs, product line &  technologies trends and value chain analysis)  to identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to stay ahead of market trends and challenge, set EMEA market indicators, trend, growth rate and size within segment.

2.    Segment strategy:

  • Develop and execute regional EMEA segment strategy and marketing plan, in line with business objectives of allnex and 5 years strategic plan on global level, define and prioritize allnex’s areas where and how to win.
  • Drive impactful marketing initiatives that foster strong relationships with our customer and beyond in the value chain delivering solutions and value. 
  • Identify key marketing channels and tactics to engage target audiences effectively.

3.    Positioning,  messaging & content:

  • Develop and shape our positioning within the market segments.
  • Provide compelling messaging and value propositions that address the (sub)segment, to support internal & external communication with Marcom, Digital, Sales  and across functional teams.  

4.    Lead generation and nurturing:

  • Generate leads to attract and engage prospects through targeted campaigns, events, and content marketing initiatives throughout the sales funnel and optimize & integrate customer journey by persona.
  • Work closely with sales teams to align marketing efforts with lead generation goals and support pipeline development.

5.    Innovation management 

  • Identify and prioritize innovation to seed EMEA innovation pipeline. 
  • Drive new product development toward “Sustainability and Green technology”.
  • Manage a launch of innovation projects together with innovation teams in the region.

6.    Cross-Functional Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Foster collaboration and alignment with sales, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to B2B marketing.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to marketing team members, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement & networks to end users.
     

Required skills and experience

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
  • Proven experience in B2B marketing management, preferably within the coatings related  industries or in chemicals & alternatives industries. 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of driving initiatives from concept to execution and delivering measurable results.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, CRM systems and digital marketing platforms.
  • Creative problem-solver with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
