Position overview
We are seeking a skilled E&I Technician to join our team, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and supporting our electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems across operations. In this position, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure peak performance and minimize downtime. Working alongside a dedicated team on the day shift, you will manage breakdown services and resolve any technical issues to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and corrective inspections, calibrations, repairs, and replacements on E&I systems.
- Troubleshoot complex PLC, DCS, and control system issues to reduce downtime.
- Test, set, and calibrate transmitters, sensors, and safety systems per standards.
- Log tasks, system updates, and material usage accurately in the CMMS.
- Oversee contractors to ensure safe, high-quality maintenance work.
- Provide technical support for projects, upgrades, and installations, including commissioning.
- Apply NEN3140, ATEX, and other standards, and promote safe work practices like LMRA and TRA.
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, share knowledge, and support improvements.
Required skills and experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, process instrumentation, and control systems (PLCs/DCS).
- Certified in NEN3140, ATEX, and intrinsic safety standards.
- Experienced in preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, and fault resolution.
- Skilled in diagnosing technical issues and minimizing downtime.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and coordinate maintenance activities and projects.
- Effective communicator and team player, collaborating across departments.
- Analytical with experience in data analysis and root cause analysis.
- Adaptable, calm under pressure, and effective in emergencies.
- Proficient in CMMS for tracking maintenance and managing resources.
