We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Regional Planning Manager to lead end‑to‑end supply planning activities across the region for the Powder Coating Resins, Radcure and CrossLinkers business. In this role, you will serve as a key partner to commercial, manufacturing, procurement, and global planning teams—ensuring seamless alignment between business priorities, operational capabilities, and customer needs. Responsibilities
- Lead regional Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), integrating demand signals, inventory strategies, capacity utilization insights, and global supply plans to deliver an aligned and executable plan.
- Oversee local production scheduling, distribution planning, and raw material planning to optimize flexibility, service levels, and cost across the short- and mid-term horizon.
- Translate demand outputs into rough‑cut capacity plans for a 3–18‑month timeframe, ensuring the region is equipped to meet future requirements.
- Manage long-term regional capacity planning and develop production strategies that support business growth, asset utilization, and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate crisis management related to supply constraints, working cross-functionally to resolve issues and maintain business continuity.
- Lead cross-functional root cause analysis to improve service performance and implement corrective actions that strengthen supply reliability.
- Monitor and analyze planning performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous enhancement of planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with raw material vendor allocation requirements provided by Procurement, safeguarding contractual commitments.
- Implement global planning improvement initiatives within the region, ensuring alignment with standardized processes and collaboration with global and regional planning peers.
- Organize and co‑lead monthly regional SMOG review meetings with business, manufacturing, quality, and finance, driving actions to completion and ensuring full visibility of planning outcomes.
Required skills and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supply chain planning environment, preferably within a chemical industry.
- Strong understanding of S&OP, production planning, inventory optimization, and capacity planning concepts.
- Demonstrated business acumen and financial awareness to support data‑driven decision-making.
- Experience working with ERP planning modules (SAP preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, with strong analytical and data‑management capabilities.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively across multiple regions or business units.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complexity and drive structured improvements.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration/Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree preferred.
