Position overview

Are you good in analyzing business needs and implement solutions that support existing technology and business initiatives? This position requires broad expertise across the ABAP Domain with skills in a variety of technologies such as OData knowledge, IDOC ALE/EDI, RFC, Webservice/Workflow development, RICEF,ABAP OO, CDS views, performance Tuning. In this role you will be required to develop/implement business solutions based on user functional and/or technical requirements analysis in a support (issue solving, minor changes) and project (major change requests). Propose, program or configure, document and Unit test business solutions according to the functional and technical requirements adhering to SAP ECC standard and our allnex standards as closely as possible. You will liaise remotely with a number of your colleagues across the globe but will be based in one of our GBS centres: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia or in Riga, Latvia. Within a matrix organization you will report to the Global Core Applications Support & Data Manager.

Responsibilities

The ABAP Programmer responsiblities:

ABAP in repository of required objects
ABAP SQL, Native SQL, Screen Logic
ALV development in ALV-tree and ALV-greed
EDI development
Procedural and functional programming
Design and normalization of databases
Debugging the code of any complexity
Monitoring and managing the state of the data in the transaction (LUV, commit rollback, implicit commit)
Creation and de-bugging SAP-script forms, SMART-forms, SAP-PDF
OLE, import/export to MS Office documents
Transformations, templates

May perform other duties as assigned.
The ability to be flexible to switch from support to project assignment. To support team member from the global team

Required skills and experience

Excellent English skills
Good communication skills
The ability to be flexible to switch from support to project assignment
Knowledge in using ticketing systems (e.g. Service Now) will be considered an advantage
5+ years experience working in a Multi National Company or GBS environment or SAP Consultancy Company as ABAP developer
Advanced skills in Object-oriented programming, Optimizing program performance and data access, Multi-user data access, BAPI

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science in the area of Programming or similar by experience
