Position overview

Allnex is welcoming to join our global and dynamic Treasury team as a Treasury Manager for the APAC region. In this role, you will involve in Cash and liquidity management, actively manage and monitor working capital requirements as well as ensure timely processing of payments. You will manage Group cash through cash pooling structure, inter-company lending/borrowing, dividends, and ensure sufficient liquidity on Group bank accounts. 
Treasury Manager APAC will also take an active role in analyzing the FX exposures, managing, and settling foreign exchange deals, inter-company loans, and assisting in the inter-company netting process. This role will be the main contact for the banks in the region, actively seeking optimization of structures, facilities, and liquidity. Also, you will take responsibility for analyzing and improving the cash flow forecast of the Group entities, including CAPEX forecasts.

Responsibilities

  • Involve in cash and liquidity management for the APAC region.
  • Monitor and manage FX exposures and deals.
  • Monitor and manage working capital and CAPEX requirements.
  • Support Treasury team with day-to-day tasks in the APAC region including settlement and reconciliation of Treasury transactions.
  • Manage APAC bank relationships and debt/Credit facilities. 
  • Actively participate in APAC Debt/Credit facilities negotiation.
  • Preparation of various Treasury reports.
  • Support Treasury and GBS projects (e.g. system changes, implementations, etc.).
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing and authorization of 3rd party and Intercompany payments through automated ERP and manual payment flows.
  • Full knowledge of ERPs and global processes related to Payments activities.
  • Conduct process improvement activities within the APAC region and alignment to global procedures.
  • Coordination of cross-functional and cross-department process improvements.
     

Required skills and experience

  • Minimum of 10 – 15 years of Treasury management experience within a (multinational) corporate environment with preferably also some additional years of banking experience. 
  • Excellent understanding of Treasury.
  • Solid understanding of banking regulations in APAC.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving & decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills; good command of English is a must. 
  • Knowledge of IT2 is an advantage;
  • Operate on a flexible schedule when demand is high.
     

Qualifications

  • Master or bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
