Position overview

Allnex is inviting you to join our global SAP team as a SAP Functional Analyst (PP & QM)! The role will be supporting Europe, Asia, and the Americas where allnex is located in the area of SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM). In this role, you are required to develop and implement business solutions based on user functional and/or technical requirements analysis in a support context (issue solving, minor changes) and sometimes in projects (major change requests).  You will liaise remotely with a number of your colleagues across the globe but will be based alongside other SAP Consultants that are based in our Global Business Services in Petaling Jaya.

  • Collaborate with both business and other team members to gather requirements, develop solutions, and deploy solutions. 
  • Technical Expertise
    • Configure SAP solutions mainly SAP PP & QM. Design, Develop and Configure the SAP system based on confirmed user requirements and the Global ERP template, putting importance on the efficiency and effectiveness according to the implementation. 
    • Translate business requirements into Specifications which serve as a basis in the development of the solution. Specifications consist of functional and technical requirements and specifications of customized programs to be developed by the SAP Application Development team. 
  • Accountability & Impact
    • Contribute to the completion of the specific change request, incident, and project. being accountable for end-to-end financial processes and deliverables. 
    • Post-go-Live (with Hyper care period) system support of the SAP ERP solution. 
    • Manage escalations by working with the right party (such as Global Process Improvement Managers – PIMs) to resolve issues and change requests. 
    • Ensure clear communication on escalation responses is done in a timely manner. 
  • Collaboration & Teamwork
    • Foster effective teamwork and actively solicits ideas from others within the organization. 
    • Deliver effective solutions for issues and change requests according to the SAP and allnex standards with respect to SLA on timing and quality
    • Strong communication and facilitation skills working with a variety of business users both in offices and in the manufacturing environment. 
  • Leadership & Influence
    • Play lead role responsible for individual deliverables assigned. 
  • Level of autonomy
    • In general, receives little instruction on day-to-day work; receives general instructions on new tasks or assignments. Will receive instruction and oversight on more complicated elements of assigned work
  • Continuity
    • Ensure knowledge management activities are set up and maintained evergreen as well as keep the additional focus on retaining critical knowledge within the organization.
    • Perform transfer knowledge to project team, Trainer, and other System Support.
    • Share best practices and cross-train other team members in SAP applications skills.
    • Supporting innovation in the scope of processes and technologies and identifying opportunities to reuse existing solutions.

Required skills and experience

  • Proven experience of working in a Multinational Company or Global Services environment or a SAP Consultancy Company as a SAP PP or SAP QM Functional Analyst.
  • Solid experience in handling end-to-end implementation projects with full module scope.
  • Expert knowledge in SAP PP and QM. Certification is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of small code change/debugging and complex issue solving and integration with other modules is a prerequisite.
  • Knowledge of production data maintenance.
  • Flexible to switch from support to project assignment. 
  • Effective communication and strong collaboration skills.
  • Good accountability and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in the English language is mandatory.


•    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in the area of Programming or similar by experience.
