Sales Manager

Position overview

Are you a quick learner and ready for new challenges? Do you have a technical background and sales experience? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you as Junior Sales Account Manager in allnex Radcure division. Your tasks will include taking over smaller and midsize client accounts, as well as follow up on new opportunities. By gaining experience in Radcure technology and further improving negotiation skills, the goal for this role is in the following years to grow into a senior sales role.

 

This is a home based position located in Northern Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing sales accounts portfolio.
  • Work in close collaboration with Technical Services Development, Marketing, Customer Service Teams.
  • Build up and maintain customer networks, by participating in events, trade shows, networking events.
  • Identify opportunities for additional sales of products, by promoting new technologies and solutions.
  • Support customers in their needs by bringing in TS&D expertise, providing product samples, new solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing, credit limits, etc.
  • Create sales account reports

 

Required skills and experience

  • 3 to 5 years in a technical sales position is required
  • Knowledge about coatings industry will be considered as an advantage
  • Fluency in German and English language
  • Ability to learn quickly a new technology
  • Strong customer focus
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Proficient in use of ICT tools
  • Excelent planning and self-organization skills
  • Results oriented personality
  • Ability for domestic travels: 2 - 4 days per week

     

Qualifications

  • Chemical Engineer (preferably in Coatings industry) or Master in Science, Commerce or Marketing
