Key Account Manager

Position overview

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to take on responsibility of  Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Mississippi teritories with 10-12 million USD sales turnover. This is a home based position and will be reporting to Radcure division Sales Director. 


  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Key Account’s competitive position in the market and the present, medium and long term strategic Business plan.
  • Understand in depth the Key Account needs, customer key buying criteria and sensitivity to changes.
  • Evaluate the attractiveness of the segments the Key Account is active in, based on profitability and growth.
  • Develop detailed Customer mapping, taking into account all dimensions.
  • Assess our competitive position (market share, cost position, technology, performance) at the Key Accounts.
  • Responsible for meeting the agreed upon budgeted sales volumes, ($10-$12 Million) revenues and contribution margin targets.
  • Lead joint development projects between Key Account and allnex.
  • Collate, validate key information (including competitive data) on the Key Account and communicate throughout the Radcure organization.
  • Develop, manage and drive implementation of a value-maximizing Key Account plan. 
  • Formulate and own a comprehensive account plan that communicates how value will be created and all the actions planned to capture that value.
  • Prepare and/or lead Global/Regional negotiations (pricing, rebate, other agreements and contracts) in alignment with the BU’s Strategies.
  • Co-ordinate pricing for the Key Account in the organization.
  • Monitor and report competitive threats, propose responses and agree on tactics as appropriate. 
  • Develop a 5-year Key Account plan and Yearly budget.
  • Propose a value maximizing Key Account investment plan.
  • Communicate clearly the Key Account plan, the resulting guidelines and the objectives by functions and areas to the entire organization. Make sure that the actions and objectives are cascaded down to each individual.
  • Gain understanding of the key decision makers and develop and maintain strong professional relationships with them.


Required skills and experience
  • 5-10+ years’ experience of which a significant part was in a Marketing/Sales/Business role
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong execution skills 
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to get commitment and actions from people outside of span of direct control within Radcure division
  • Ability to take calculated risks in order to achieve specific goals
  • Ability to build Radcure senior management support.
  • Good financial awareness.
  • Customer focused and creative in approach
  • Good written, verbal and presentation skills


  • University degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • Post-graduate business qualification is highly preferable.
