Technical Service&Business Development Specialist

As Technical Services and Business Development Specialist you will give a support to our existing and potential customers in area of technical expertise.
By driving business development at existing and new customers for the Radcure EMEA business, the Specialist raises awareness of allnex product range and technical capabilities in the market place, identifies new leads, develops customer relations and offers appropriate technical solutions to customers that fit customer needs in order to generate new business. The Specialist also contributes to the New Product Development strategy of the business by bringing information from the market on customer needs as well as feedback on product performance of existing and new products of allnex and its competitors.

Responsibilities
  • Supports business growth and sales through technical support to customers/distributors within the area of responsibility, including enhancement of existing products as well as new product introductions.
  • Execute a customer visit plan in agreement with the plan developed.
  • Maintain technology leadership position with technical expertise in product application and specific formulation.
  • Liaises with Sales and marketing in searching new business and sales opportunities.
  • Builds up market, customer and competitive intelligence with Marketing and Sales.
  • Ensure reporting and communication, initiate discussions on unmet needs, new ideas, projects with Business, sales, marketing and R&D.
  • Participate in sales meetings to discuss new business opportunities, sales efforts  and share market intelligence.
Required skills and experience
  • At least 5 years of successful working experience in similar role, working in production or research fields for coatings / coating resins.
  • Master or PhD degree in chemistry, combined with technical accumen in inks&coatings.
  • Good IT knowledge.
  • Very good English language and one of following - Dutch, French, Italian - are mandatory.
  • Good analytical, assertive and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial personality with strong focus on solutions, optimizations and improvements.
  • Strong ability to organize, prioritize.
