IT Solution Manager

Position overview

The position is responsible for maintaining and supporting the global IT applications which are being used by the Supply Chain organization. The position will be responsible for the alignment with the functional representatives and the corresponding set-up of those applications and for this functional domain. The incumbent will ensure close alignment with the other functional areas within IT as well as with the IT Application Architects. The position will actively participate in multiple roll-outs and improvement projects.


  • Liaise with key business users and Process Improvement Managers to analyse their needs, develop overall requirements and enhance the existing solutions with the required functionally.
  • Coordinate changes and improvements in the supporting applications suite.
  • Test newly developed features and changes in the platform’s configuration before releasing to the user community.
  • Coordinate a small team of internal and external experts
  • Work with peers in other functional areas and application architects in order to provide solid and integrated end-to-end solutions across different applications
  • Support the solution of incidents and change requests
Required skills and experience
  • 7 years of relevant working experience
  • In-depth experience in SAP ECC Supply Chain and Warehouse Management
  • Including configuration and integration with other modules
  • At least 3 complete roll-outs
  • Experience in the design of interfaces 
  • Functional design and collaboration with developers and local teams
  • Understanding of and interest in analytics
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Excellent written and oral English, with any other additional language being an advantage.

Master degree in a scientific or engineering direction with a major IT component - or equivalent experience
