Quality Control Manager

Position overview

Are you interested in learning more about the Quality Control in the world leading industrial coating resins company? allnex is seeking an experienced, responsible and results oriented leader to join our dynamic team. You will provide leadership of a quality control team and will provide expertise in the quality laboratory.

Responsibilities

  • Professional and disciplinary leadership as well as the continuous further development of a team of 12 employees in the quality laboratory including 5 shifts(24/7) factory support
  • Ensure the smooth work of the quality laboratory as well as the organization and coordination of process and quality control
  • Quality assurance of raw materials, intermediate products and finished goods, including quick troubleshooting and review of initial measurements
  • Keep finish goods shippable by maintaining the shelf-life of products made in Bergen op Zoom stored in allnex warehouses worldwide
  • Ensure that test equipment is calibrated and monitored
  • Ensure that the test methods are appropriate, correct and up-to-date
  • Conduct and coordinate Round Robins and measurement variant analysis 
  • Coordinate and support customer complaint process
  • Ensure the acquisition, documentation and interpretation of process and test data
  • Generation of product information used for release and troubleshooting
  • Identify trends via SPC analysis, and support investigations and troubleshooting 
  • Conduct internal and external audits
  • Ensure continuous improvement of quality assurance processes
  • Organize and conduct internal training

Required skills and experience

  • Extensive experience within the chemical industry 
  • Strong ability to drive continuous improvement under demanding circumstances
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage

Qualifications

  • Higher degree, minimum Bachelor (HBO - analytical or chemical specialization)
