Position overview
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our Construction Plant, based in our Penrose site. You will be responsible for all aspects of production in a batch manufacturing environment, this will include supervision and training of a small team of production workers, planning, and scheduling.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Site Manager, your role is to:
- Set production schedules to meet orders and stock levels
- Supervise and organise staff for the effective and efficient flow of manufactured products and materials through the plant
- Ensure that the product is manufactured and available to the customer within agreed timeframes
- Review orders and stock levels on a regular basis and report changes to the production schedule
- Ensure compliance with allnex's Safety, Health Environmental Quality Policies, and Procedures
Required skills and experience
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, Surface coatings or similar preferred
- Strong commitment to safety standards and customer service, with a sound understanding of manufacturing processes
- General computer literacy/competency and use of business systems and processes
- Capacity to work accurately, with attention to detail, and make decisions on competing priorities
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong work ethic and focus on teamwork, quality, collaboration, and support
- Previous experience with dangerous goods and understanding of Health and Safety Regulations would be advantageous
- Able to work under high pressure
Qualifications
- College or above
- Major chemical engineering is preferred
