Position overview

Are you ready to be part of our history, with a sales booster profile?

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to take on responsibility of our customers. This person will be responsible for achieving sales budget, maximizing sales and profits within the territory, promotion of existing products and development of new business opportunities, implementation of business strategy aligned with BU guidelines and reporting competitive activity and market conditions back to management. The Sales Manager also will be reporting to Liquid Resins and Additives division Sales Director. 


•    Understand in depth the Account needs, customer key buying criteria and sensitivity to changes.  Assess our competitive position (market share, cost position, technology, performance) at the Accounts communicate throughout the LRA organization.
•    Able to manage territory/customer project list [action file] so ensure commitments are met. Responsible for meeting the agreed upon budgeted sales volumes, revenues and contribution margin targets.
•    Identify and define value-creating opportunities for LRA and the related businesses taking into account all aspects of the business (existing products, new developments, volumes and prices, service levels, cost to serve, etc.).
•    Able to build internal relationships with Marketing managers, Technical Services and Development to implement plan.
•    Ability to balance empowerment of customer service while ensuring enough direct interaction with customer.
•    Prepare and/or lead negotiations (pricing, rebate, other agreements and contracts) in alignment with the BU’s Strategies.
•    Monitor and report competitive threats, propose responses and agree on tactics as appropriate. 
•    Oversee the execution, doing whatever it takes to make sure the targets are met or exceeded.
•    Expected traveling for about 40%.
•    Drive relationship building with customer at all levels of both organizations.

Required skills and experience

•    5+ years’ experience in previous sales roles related to latex and emulsions in the coatings industry.
•    Excellent business, commercial and technical expertise.
•    Strong analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking (vision, problem solving).
•    Good internal and external communication skills (assume responsibility for initiating communications).
•    Fluent English required.
•    Experience with Power BI, excel, CRM.
•    Clean driver’s license.


  • University degree in a technical or business discipline.
