Position overview

Are you a seasoned technical leader with a passion for driving excellence? Join our team at allnex! 
We’re seeking a Technical Manager to oversee critical aspects of our operations such as capital projects, energy efficiency and process automation.

Responsibilities

  • Overall management responsibility for process engineering group.  Support project installations with front-end engineering and scope development, and then commissioning, check-out, updating procedures, training operations, and transfer of project to production or other end user.
  • Oversee effective implementation of manufacturing excellence initiatives, new quality improvement programs, new product introductions, new equipment base (capital projects), cost reduction programs, and revisions to existing processes.
  • Overall management of Maintenance department, including mechanical integrity program, Boilerhouse, and Maintenance resources.
  • Management and execution of Capital Projects Plan and budget, including corporate reporting requirements.
  • Oversight and implementation of site Energy Improvement Program, including compliance with ISO 50001.
  • Overall responsibility for maintaining, upgrading, and fully utilizing and improving process automation systems.
  • Coordinate technical efforts between R&D and other technical groups.
  • Support and comply with all requirements of WL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. 

Required skills and experience

  • 10 years of engineering support and/or project implementation experience in a related chemical industry.
  • Process controls experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage project budgets and deadlines.
  • Ability to lead and develop other engineers in technical activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in engineering, preferably in chemical, mechanical or electrical engineering.
