Freight and Warehousing Operations Transformation Lead plays a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and leading organizational changes within the realm of freight transportation and warehouse management. The role aims to streamline logistic processes and reduce overall costs, contributing to the allnex’ sustainability and efficiency targets.

 

Areas of responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborating with senior management to develop and execute a comprehensive transformation strategy for freight transportation and warehouse operations.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of current processes, systems, and technologies to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Process Improvement:

  •  Lead cross-functional teams to redesign and streamline freight transportation and warehouse processes.
  • Implement best practices and industry standards to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Technology Integration:

  • Evaluate, select, and implement cutting-edge technologies and software solutions to optimize freight and warehouse management.
  • Oversee the integration of new technologies with existing systems to ensure seamless operations and minimal disruption, provide training and support to employees on the use of new technologies and tools.

Change Management:

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization, communicate transformation initiatives throughout organization.
  • Anticipate and address resistance to change by fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of transformation initiatives.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to measure progress, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with transformation efforts and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor external factors, such as regulatory changes and market trends, that may impact freight and warehousing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in leading transformation initiatives within the freight transportation and warehousing industry.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills to lead cross functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of freight management, warehouse operations, and supply chain processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Agile decision making and rapid execution, focusing on delivering results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and stakeholders management abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Business fluent English skills.
