Product Line Manager / Radcure

Position overview

Are you experience in prepare marketing strategies and programs for a product line and offer innovative products that meet the needs and wants of customers? As a Product Line Manager, you will develops and implement the global/ regional product and asset management plans for the Americas Radcure product management function in accordance with the BU strategy to drive profitable growth by creating and capturing value for customers.

Responsibilities

Maintain a consistent product portfolio optimizing profitability:

  • Develop consistent Radcure SKU plan, taking into account customer needs, competitive position and cost

  • Provide support to sales team for development and maintenance of existing customers and development of new business

  • Execute the launch of new products as driven by the marketing, TS&D team(s) based upon sales input of customers/market needs.

  • Identify opportunities for asset optimization

  • Analyze the sourcing plan and make recommendations on sourcing strategy to maximize profitability and may participate in discussions with key suppliers

  • Interact with Procurement and Manufacturing to ensure Quality standards

  • Provide input to Technology on new innovation projects and oversee product launch

  • Ensure necessary product registrations and regulatory compliances are in place for products

  • Identify opportunities for product rationalization

  • Coordinate Management of Change (MOC) efforts that have a commercial impact in the Americas region

  • Working with cross-regional PLM for alignment on price, product and package alignment

  • Closely work with/support sales team and legal on sales contracts for customers.  

Develop and recommend pricing strategy and support in defining commercial excellence initiatives:

  • Ensure product and price data quality, analyze product profitability and propose improvements to product and pricing tools
  • Interact with Manufacturing and Operational Excellence to assess total cost picture
  • Set and manage list prices for the Americas region
  • Interact with Sales and Marketing to assess customer value
  • Coordinate with marketing and innovation teams to create view of competitive pricing and differences in value proposition and monitor competitor product offerings, pricing and capacity utilization.

Work with Supply Chain and Customer Service team to focus on customer relationship management and service excellence:

  • Participate in S&OP to provide critical input in resolution of large topics and lead resolution of minor issues
  • In conjunction with OTD and Supply chain determine annual production capacities required in the different reactors/ assets and manage product consistency from the various assets
  • Optimize sourcing with Supply Chain through global cost benchmarking in order to maximize profitability and take advantage of the cost benefits (raw material and conversion).
  • Manage inventory and SMOG’s levels, in conjunction with Supply Chain/ Planning
  • Participate in the customer complaint process (approve returns, approve discounts, approve for disposal, etc.)

Find long-term business opportunities in collaboration with Marketing:

  • Drive and support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process to establish sampling and manage registration process, in concert with the marketing team
  • Ensure product and price data quality and propose improvements to product and pricing tools

Generate insights on market dynamics and business performance issues and develop analytical models:

  • Monitor competitive actions, volumes and pricing for key product families.
  • Analyze share and estimate competitor capabilities in the region.
  • Monitor imports into Americas from Asia, Europe and other regions in order to analyze competitor’s market share in the Americas.

Lead/ support growth and business improvement initiatives underway throughout the regional organization.
Participate in developing business strategies to support the company growth program.

Required skills and experience

  • 5 to 15 years of experience in an product management/ business management/ supply chain role in the chemical industry.
  • Radiation cure technical experience is preferred. 
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels in the organization.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering results.
  • “Change agent” with ability to implement innovative processes / practices and challenge the Status Quo.
  • Fluent English is required. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Science or Bachelors in Administration in a business or technical degree. 
  • MBA in related field desired.
