Position overview

At our company, the primary focus of the Product Analyst lies in bolstering the Product Management team by executing Americas LRA product and asset management strategies aligned with our business unit's vision, aiming to foster profitable growth.

Responsibilities

Product Management Support:

  • Accountability to maximize profitability of the LRA product group within Americas region; Participate in global supply reviews to report supply side issues, competitive landscape, and cost information.
  • Manage sample portfolio in alignment with Product list and NPI initiatives; set stock levels, drive prompt disposition of expired samples, resolve supply side issues when necessary; update sampling lists.
  • Work with demand analyst to identify trends in demand versus forecast; participate in demand reviews and take actions to support the PLMs to maintain 18 month forecast as needed.
  • Manage item code set up and ongoing item code maintenance process (including new product set up, expiration of products, corrections, etc.).
  • Maintain up-to-date Pricing Database of customer pricing. Used by internal sales, invoicing, customer price letters and Americas LRA Product Management team to ensure competitive and accurate price communications.
  • Propose improvements to product and pricing tools.

Analyze Cost Trends and propose pricing adjustments:

  • Analyze and review cost trends compared to market guidance provided by procurement.
  • Review outlier pricing trends to realign to market conditions.

Rebate Analysis for allnex North America:

  • Accountable for the timely preparation and reconciliation of all customer rebates, bill backs, promos, and other miscellaneous customer credits. Assist in the preparation of month end reserves and provide additional analysis as needed.
  • Ability to work closely with Accounts Receivable and Finance on resolving variances/ issues between the customer’s payment and actual rebate settlement.
  • Provide exceptional support to our customers (internal and external) by fielding inquiries, responding toad hoc requests and processing rebates accurately and timely. Interact with sales team both verbally and via email on requests relating to customer related incentives.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Creates Weekly and Monthly Sales Reports and Open Order Reports for the Product Management and Sales Department.
  • Create sales and analytical dashboards that analyze market trends and address lagging performance. Ability to manipulate raw data and mine the data to create meaningful information. Update, modify and distribute monthly scorecards to Business Directors across organization.
  • Maintain Product Status List (Promote, Growth, etc.) and Customer Classification Lists.
  • Maintains Opportunity (Action List) Database and ensures updates are added to the database, distributes information to appropriate team members.
  • Support ISO standards, environmental and quality programs. ISO Internal Auditor; auditing internal departments for certification compliance.

Required skills and experience

  • 2-5 years’ experience, of which significant part in a finance/ analyst/ product management/ supply chain role.
  • Very strong computer skills - particularly Word, Excel (pivot table experience required), PowerPoint and ERP systems (SAP is preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and being able to work without constant supervision.
  • Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

  • BS or BA in a business or technical degree preferred.
    Or
  • 10+ years of experience applicable in the field.
