Position overview
Are you interested to extend global reach through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships in the world leading coating resins industry? As a Business Development Manager for Additives, the job aims to grow the global X-BU Additive business by focusing on market opportunities and new business leads. In this position, the incumbent closely cooperates with key accounts and distribution partners and values customers in the coatings field and non-coating or adjacent segments. The aim is to bring together all Additive technologies from liquid, powder, radiation curing, and crosslinkers and create growth in strategic markets.

Responsibilities

Drives business growth for all Additives regionally by promoting strategic products and identifying market gaps, opportunities, and competitive weaknesses.

Creating new business leads for X-BU Additives in new markets/regions, providing combined expertise for all Additives technologies.

Improves internal and external awareness for all X-BU Additives and identifies X-segment opportunities for global customers.

Liaises with global business teams, sales functions, marketing, PLM, and communications and builds the interface for X-BU business growth.

Led regional adjacency projects (high-potential Additive projects).
Required skills and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the chemical industry – preferred coating technologies: UV curable resins, dispersants, acid catalysts, tires, oxidative driers, and alkyds are a plus.
- Fluent English required.
- Availability to relocate to Alpharetta region is required.
- Availability to travel 30% of the time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.

MBA and Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Polymer Science are preferred.
